so after months of waiting for the reefmat to arrive, then waited another few weeks to find time to do the sump mod and install, the reefmat 1200 is finally in !! I've never used socks, because when I did, I never changed them in time and they just collected all the gunk. now with this new toy, I can have a nice clear tank !! I'll keep everyone updated on how it performs.
