Timers for Sundial T-5 and Reading test kit results

Well I got the Sundial t-5 today. I really don't understand the timers or how to set them. If anyone has experience with that I could use some help. Also I tested tonight the calcium and it came back about 240. Very low, I know. How should I correct this? Also I tried reading the Magnesium test and it came back between 0,3 and 0,4 thats what it says on the syringe. They said each mark was 0.01. And the scale only went by twos. For example 0.02 0.04 and so on. Any help?

At your tanks young age and small size, just do a large scale water change.
