What size light for a 120g

I'm looking at upgrading my Nova 4X54w to another nova since they are in my price range i want to spend and come in 6 and 8 bulb models. my question is what would you recommend the 8X54w or the 6X54w? i was going to get the Odyssea MH/T5 light but after seeing the growth on my acros it's hard to decide which to go for.


the tank is a Marinland 120 48X24x24

8x54...I have Catalina Aq. fixture and with better bulbs (think bulb upgrade over time is extremely important with T5 lighting) I have maxima clam on the bottom and it has added a ring since MACNA....and my derasa has gone from 2in to 5in in a year. My RBTA is down almost on the bottom too so gets enough light, just split and the second one is staying next to the first.
