    mh clamp on height from tank?

    people always told me 6 inches from the water...that way the light can spread in the tank instead of being concentrated in a specific area :) they are all correct

    I would go 150 and save some PC's so you can have a dawn effect...150 watt MH fixture with PC's in them....color temp is what i will leave up to you...HTH

    Well its not always about watts per gallon...that is a bull crap..its about the intensity and water movement for any tank...especially SPS...they need strong flow and intense lighting....honestly..i would go MH, unless you want to go t5 with a tek fixture....are you putting MH in the fixture aka...

    weird worm thingy

    yep...they have green tentacles and just reach for food and grab it...i have a couple of those in my tank...i threw some away cause they kind of gross me out..but they are harmless :)

    the digi would have to be all the way at the top...i would stay away from anything besides a digi for sps...and they need to be kept high in the tank.....the t5 lighting in the nano's is not equal to the t5 from a tecklighting fixture...That is an excellent size tank as well, if he ever wants to...
