i found this place the other day while trying to look for 250w phoenix DE MH bulbs and they have them for $50 instead of the usual $65. i dont know what your looking for but you can check it out
choc. starfish will def eat corals, and i would def pull the damsels out they are very aggressive and only get worse the longer their in a tank and establish territory.
ive had both and their both nice looking but would choose the flame over the coral beauty any day. depending on how big your tank is you could do both.
how about a school of firefish? they have the red firefish, purple firefish and more expensive firefish(not sure of exact name) but the red usually go for around 15-20 bucks and purple for about 30 bucks.
you can make one yourself if you want, its not that hard, ive done a few myself. just get a tank, and go to home depot and get some plexi, 14 bucks for one piece(thats all i needed) with a good thickness to it, and then cut it with a razorblade or you could have them cut it for a few bucks, and...
i bought it a few weeks ago for my upgrade tank and i like it, great price for what you get cant beat it. i have a 200 gallon tank and bought 200pounds of sand for 128 shipped and i have a 2" sandbed aaround my whole tank with some spots being 3".
you can get a piece of wood of 3 foot level and a razor blade and cut it that way, thats how i do it and ive made numerous sumps that way, just take the razor blade and make some passes and then snap it and youll be good to go
I just got 200 pounds of sand from marco rocks for $128 shipped. Very pleased with how it looks and cant beat the price, so if anyones looking for sand, id suggest buying from them.
thats good. what trick worked? I had a koran angel that was fine for a while then turned on me and started eating my zoos, luckily i didnt have too many of them so i didnt loose a lot, but cant keep zoos in my tank
Thats funny, the things people come up with. Why not put an in wall tank next to the shower. shower curtain on one side and fish tank on the other side...lol
If you plan on keeping them and having a big colony in your tank, then just leave them, but if you might look to either sell or trade some later on put some pieces of rubble rock or discs around them and let them grow onto those pieces and then sell or trade them.
I would def cure the rock and not just throw it in and risk the chance of crashing your tank. you could mix up new saltwater and let it sit in there with a powerhead and even if you wanted to you could let it sit out in the sun for a couple days and dry up and then put it in the fresh SW mix for...
I use MediCoral by Brightwell Aquatics, its simple to use. just take saltwater from your tank and put it into a bucket or some container, and for every gallon you use 20 drops. so if you only have 1/2 gallon of water use 10 drops, or soo on, its easy.
Thats horrible, id be sick.... Reminds me of a 300 gallon tank that came into a LFS a few weeks ago, and as they were bringing it inside, they accidentially dropped it and cracked the whole front glass piece....I wanted to cry and it wasnt even my tank, such a shame to see a beautiful 300gal RR...
