i have the same skimmer, and the noise he is talking about is def the air injector...noisy as hell! mines in my sump so the noise is muffled by the stand..lol that cottage cheese cap trick is worth a try though! sounds like the perfect fix

tonight was a pleasing night! i had gotten rid of my etss reef devil. it just doesnt work for me. i had picked up a aqua c remora. i thought it could hang on the side of my sump, but was too tall. so i got pissed and hung it on the back of my tank....ohhhh no! that sucked! so me and mike(hirobo)...

i am going to give ya the bad news first.....start over! your tank leaking is still gonna leak! water finds the path of least resistance, and silicone is not gonna stop it. it will eventually break the seal in the glass and silicoine and possibly create catastrophic failure!!! yikes!!! repair...

ok its been a bit since an update, soooo. things are goin well, tank is doin awesome! changing the crappy icecap bulb out soon to a reeflux 12k. i dont like the color of the icecap 14k. plus i have like no growth at all! im kicking photobuckets ass right now with all the pics i took tonight, so...
