24 gpd Maxxima R/O ?

I would like to know if all r/o units filters and membranes are inter-changable? If i buy used 24 gpd Maxxima R/O would i have to buy filters from kent +(other equip) or can i get 75gpd membrane and any 10" pre filters for it.

i believed they are standard parts...
however, some name branded on may be a bit better quality compared to other...
but i would just buy the regular - cheap one...
;)
