Best Heater?

What heater would you guys say is the best route to go, I am looking for everybody's opinion? I know I missed the group buy for them but either way I need a heater because what I have cannot handle the temp drop at on the weekend.

I am going to buy one of the following groups please if everyone can give me their imput and which do they think is the best route to go. It is going into a 175 Bow Front tank.

I really can’t comment on your choices because, other than my saltwater mixing Brute, I do not use titanium heaters. I use titanium in my mixing barrel because it gets tossed around.

I am a glass user for my system. I use two heaters that are controlled (reefkeeper)…..two because when one fails, it will still keep temperature. I believe what is most critical is having a controller. Heaters will fail, and the common failure is getting “stuck” ON. I’ve had this happen with a freshwater tank I use to have, and it cooked the fish. The controller protects you from this.

Now, if you were to consider glass, the undisputed best heater is Eheim Jager. Their glass is twice as thick as others. The only problem is that they are long. And in my case, size did matter, and the 300 W heaters were too long to fit in my sump. So I went with my number two choice….Sera.

So it looks like I should get a controller of sorts is what that thread is basically saying... I have an old aqua controller I could never figure out how to use so I lost it in a box somewhere. Is there an easy plug and play one or better yet is there one out there that can go through wifi and check out my tank when I am home? That would be pretty awesome especailly when the buck is on the business and not on me. I just can't go crazy.
