i have a question regarding commercially avaialbe calcium 2 part solutions.
i think most of the commercially available liquid calcium (part 1) is calcium chloride (not calcium hydroxide).
i read in some articles that when the calcium chloride is dosed, as calcium gets used up the chlorine is released and eventually chlorine gets removed with waterchange.
is this true? my question is whether or not chlorine gets left behind in the tank and is removed with waterchange or will chlorine just dissipate evaporate out of the system like it does when we leave tap water out.
i'm just curious that is all.
