Was looking to pick up a mount and u-bend tube for a Frankenstein ATO I'm putting together.
Saw the prices and almost choked - $25+ for an ATO float mount?!
So, plastic lid and scissors led to...
Add a lighter and a bit more scissor work (measure twice on the height)...
and then add a float...
Bring that lighter back to some rigid tubing for a fill line...
Then hook em up and put em in tank, not the prettiest, and I plan to remake the mount out of lexan, but for a whopping cost of $0 (or pretty close too) can't be beat...
