I've decided to go external with my pumps, and in order to save some table top space (basement sump), I was thinking of drilling the bottom of the sump for the bulk heads and running to the pumps which will sit below on a separate shelf. I've see 1 example of this, but the side of the sump was drilled.
Any negatives anyone can think of (excluding draining all the water out) that one can think of? I figured, even with a side drilling, if water leaks, most of the sump will be emptied, so whats another few gallons.
