I have an 18g nano that I've been wanting to add a sump/fuge onto. The stand works really well and it's doors swing fully open and gives full access to it's innards. The internal size of the stand is 17.5" x 15" x 26"H.
I was looking at making the sump 17x14.5x15H with a intake chamber, and bubble trap. Due to it's size I'm leaning towards skimmerless for now. (For lack of a small skimmer)
Finish it off with a mag 5/7 on the return.
Oh and have some small triangular cut pieces of acrylic to lay eggcrate on top of as a makeshift shelf.
Also will be needing to add a hob overflow box as well.
Thoughts, suggestions, ideas, offers to help... I mean teach me?
