I use a short section of hose on my water change pump. The issue I’ve had is that this hose kinks. To attempt to solve this issue, I pretty much tried all the ⅝ - ¾ inch hoses HD had to offer, and found none that wouldn’t eventually kink.
My last ditch effort was to try automotive heater hose…it’s twice as thick as garden hose. The issue I ran into was that I had to buy a whole spool….I think it was 100 feet…..and I might have used about 10 feet. The good news is it works….no kinks. The bad news is that I have this long length of hose just sitting around collecting dust. Note, this is just hose, no threaded ends.
FREE for the taking….a piece or preferably the whole length of ⅝ hose. Pickup in Sayreville. Hose reel not included.
