Steve's got a D-80 that he's used to take those pictures with.

Been there done it....

Love that picture too. It looks like the shark is flying through the clouds! Amazing perspective. I wonder how the animals feel about it?!

From the photos that you posted, I'd guess that the Baltimore Aquarium will pale by comparison! And if you're going to go there make sure that you buy your tickets/get an entry time in advance, otherwise you'll be waiting hours to get into Baltimore too!

The last time we went we bought our tickets, then went and had lunch. After lunch we had just a few more minutes to our entry time.

Great balloon pics, Steve!! :)

awesome awesome pics.

Did they post signs that stated those critters were "freshwater"?

On the first pic - those fish appear to be Caranx hippos aka Jacks or Pompanos...those are saltwater fish that can tolerate river water (e.g. it's still salty). But to say freshwater makes me think they are out of Lake Erie or something...

On the freshwater "starfish" - the background has what appears to be a Hypsypops rubicundus. The orange color is a dead giveaway...and those are definitely saltwater...so your starfish is a saltwater species. I'm unaware of any species that is freshwater.

they have this one section that u walk in & the guide said it was freshwater section
so as i walk through I'm assuming everything in there is freshwater, the tank with the starfish was on the left & it was the first tank as we walked in so thats why i said that but what to i know i was just taking pictures of cool things, for some reason the ones i took of the sea dragon came out bad so the next person that goes there most post pictures of them.
