Looks like you did great without us. But welcome aboard. Hope we can improve your reefkeeping experience.
Can you give us some history?
James

Here is the condensed version of the tanks life:

Tank started as a regular 55 with PC lighting
One day the Wife gave me the choice of big screen TV in the livingroom or the 55.
So everything got moved to the 54 corner, as IT did not seem much of a compromise at the time.
I started the 54 corner with a 20 gallon sump and a "jebo" skimmer.(didn't know any better)
The PCs were upgraded with a sunpod 150 HQI. But then all the lighting "looked ugly" in the livingroom.
I quickly found out that there is nothing pre-built for a corner tank.
So I built a custom canopy to fit the lights in. Here is the build thread.

http://www.reefzedge.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=372

After that I upgraded lighting. Got read of 2 65w PC and replace them with 4 24W T5.
At this point stuff started growing like crazy and I did not have enough space to put the frags So I needed a bigger setup.
As I was confined to the 54 corner I decided to plumb the sump in the basement. Replaced the 20G sump with a 110G sump with a 2X2 area to grow frags.
The sump was an old RR tank that I put acrylic baffles in. At this point I was Using the 4 65W PCs that I had removed from the corner tank for the sump so nothing was coloring up as nice as upstairs.
I was forced to upgrade the lighting and the skimmer. I got a Berlin skimmer and and 2 4X39W T5 fixtures for the sump.

At this point It got "way too complicated" to run the timers so I got an ACIII controller to "run" the tank.
I also Got a calcium reactor and made DIY Kalk reactor

After a while The sump turned impractical due to the original design and had to be rebuilt
Here is a link to that thread

http://www.reefzedge.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=333&start=20

After that I got a web cam and put the tank online Now not only I could monitor it over the internet but also could watch it all day long from work!

Finally I have come to the conclusion that I need a new bigger skimmer so I am looking for one.

Nice custom build on the hood, looks better then anything you could buy.
Thanks for that tale to go with the tank.

So here is an update on the sump

I have connected 3 reactors ( phosban, carbon and purigen) Installed them inside the sump and all of them have quick disconects for easy cleanup

Calcium reactor is seen on the right
The water container holds the RO water that feeds the kalk reactor( not seen)
ASM G2 on the back
Koralia 4 on the left side for water movement
Over 100 frags in the frag rack

I have a bristle tooth tang in there and may snails to keep the frag racks clean
