Got my first coaral yesterday

My tank is now a reef...

I picked up a 2 headed frogspawn frag yesterday for OGII. It was closed up when I got it home so I positioned it in between two rocks and it seemed to fit nicely. It opened up all the way about 2 hours later.

I noticed that it closed up a little when I turned off the light for the night but when I looed at it this morning it was open so I guess it needs to get used to my lighting schedule.

It's normal for them to close up when the lights are off.

Good luck Steve. Great choice, easy coral to grow. One thing before you decide on the placement, this coral will send out sweepers several times the length of their bodies that will sting and kill any corals they touch so you may want to put it in a corner of the tank flowing toward the glass. Saturday looks good for RedSand let me know what time.
