Help is needed to identify critter on torch

Hey all,

I was decompressing infront if the tank just now and noticed what appears to be some sort of tubular worm growing off my torch. This was not there yesterday(as I need to decompress infront of my tank every night) . Any help in ID would be super appreciated.

Could be vermetid snails - check out this article on how to control and remove them.

Just Google...."Torch Coral Mouth" then images.... looks exactly what you have
