How should I treat popeye in a reef tank ? My coral beauty just came down with it.

How should I treat popeye in a reef tank ? My coral beauty just came down with it.

Move to hospital tank, treat with Epsom salt. Should be fixed relatively quickly.

I now believe that it really is an injury to the eye now.

Well, most pop-eye is (unless it looks infected).

If you see only 1 eye effected, it's almost guaranteed that the fish bumped into something and it can be treated with Epsom salt.

If both eyes are popped, than it's likely something else (though still can be generic pop-eye).
