fyi, there's aiptasia in my tank, so if you dont have any aiptasia, dont get this or you may risk getting aiptasia. I currently have some berghia nudis hard at work though on my problem.

@DELxCMB that was very cool of you to include that it's in a tank that has aptasia. 99.999 would never disclose that. I recently had something in quarantine (always do this with everything for 4 months). On day 7 in quarantine, it had 6 aptasias on the walls of the quarantine tank. :eek:

thanks. Ive been in the hobby long enough to know someone will complain and give you a bad name, or come over, see the tank, then change their mind. I'm always up front with everything. I've never qtd corals before. only fish. crazy thing is, even w aiptasia, my sps are still growing around those suckers !! these berghias need to hurry up and eat !! hahahaha

Agreed, disclosure is the honorable way to go. We should always be as transparent as @DELxCMB !!!

But, honestly almost anytime I add anything to my reef, from (almost) ANYWHERE, aptasia pops up.

I employ peppermint in every section of my tank. They don’t last long in the display tank (that damn flamehawk is lucky I like him), and I replace often. Everywhere else the turnover is much lower. The few small stretches I go without adding something to the system I’m fine, but as soon as something goes in...bam, Aptasia.

Be ready peeps, Aptasia everywhere.
