Looks like a stomatella, a snail with a soft 'shell'.

Good cleaners, reef-safe, nocturnal, hunted by peppermint shrimp and 'lined' wrasses in underfed tank, easily reproduce if they survive long enough, if threatened they drop their hind end like a lizard dropping its tail.

It definitely looks like that!

It almost got a bayer dip which i do not think it would have made it thru...

Awesome. Think i will put him in my live rock in my sump. See how it goes from there.
 
It is a stomatella for sure. If your lucky they will multiply tons. If your like me your wrasses and hermits will make meals of them.
