Is this a yuma?

I just found them growing on a rock I bought a month ago. I love surprises!

I can't really see the mouth. Does the mouth have polyps on it? or is it smooth? Bumps would say Yuma. Otherwise it might just be a non-specific rhododactis of some sort.

They have the tell tale single off color radial stripe..........kinda of

or maybe not after the second picture.

Yuma Mouth

That's a close up of what the mouth of a yuma looks like. There are bumps all over the rise that forms the mouth. The Florida will look similar, but without the bumps on the mouth area.

I'd like to see a good close up of the mouth itself.

Flower anemone?

I think you're right Phyl. They're growing out of a hole in the rock and retract quickly when touched just like an anemone.

Thanks

If it were a flower anemone, wouldn't it also have a mouth?

Yes. The pink part in the middle appears to be the oral disc, the mouth would be in the center of that. Depending on the size of the anenome, the mouth may be hard to spot.
