Koralia 4 mod BEST PUMP MOD YET!!

This is the Koralia 4 pump mod I demonstrated at the Sept 08 meeting at Ed's house.\

It is a real easy mod, just changing the impeller. It makes the Koralia 4 function like you wouldn't believe. :eek:

I changed all of mine to this mod. Really, it isn't like the junky Maxijet mods we all tried to build.

It will not work on anything but a 4. Different size magnet and length. Only works with the brown impeller that comes with the kit as well.

Hmmm I have K4s and MJ900 so maybe I can get one kit and use the white for the MJ and the black for the K4. Double bubble.

Can you change the prop on the shaft of the K4? I never tried to take it off.

I changed all of my K4's now. They are so great. I also put a few on a timed program on my AC pro. To give a little chaos a few times a day to my tank. There is a click that drives me crazy when the pump turns back on, but I have it going in my frag tanks in the basement.

The click is the end play on the shaft. There was a thread about this on RC. They slid a piece of airline tubing over the shaft cut to length to prevent the end play. After that the click was gone.

Hey Jason, what do you need a wavemaker in a nano for? It is like the size of a bucket, why do you need waves in a bucket?
JK they have a new tunze nano wavemaker i saw at macna. not out just yet. it was cool.
