lateral line disease on tang snot

LOL..Tang Snot!!.. I meant to type snout.

Is their anything we can do for lateral line disease on a tang's snout? The guys at Elos say it will get better on its own. I am soaking pellets in selcon and garlic. This should help. Any other suggestions?

If you got it that way listen to elos. If it manifested itself in your tank then another story.

Isn't it (lateral line disease) related(caused) by carbon ?

There are three known causes at this point for HLLE. 1. Stray voltage in your tank 2. Poor nutrition 3. Ground up carbon getting into your tank and into your fish. Stress might be another factor as well as the health of the fish.
