So I made a mod for my DIY skimmer today but it does not produce any bubbles. I add the typical mesh mod to the pump but it just tares it up in no time is there somewhere I can get something that will work like a pinwheel I guess. This thing is killing me I need it fixed HELP.

Ricwilli the mesh was held in place with zip ties worked great for a limited time. I need kevlar mesh LOL. The pump is a Supreme Classic model 12 1200 GPH.
Which mesh are you using? There are two types. This link show both http://www.randystacye.com/diythreadwheel.htm. Premium Aquatics also has the one with the flat bottom http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=GFI. I think this one might hold better. Don't know where you're located, but if you have not tried the mesh with the flat bottom, I can give you some so that you can try it.
