tomorrow looks to be the day where i'm going to move my tank to the new residence. the plumbing setup here has a copper sharbite stopper which i can remove to put on my new valve. would something like this work?

SharkBite 1/4 in. O.D. x 1/4 in. O.D. Quick Connect Straight Valve-25437 - The Home Depot

1. it seems they refer to it as O.D for these type of fittings (not sure if thats the same as 1/4 ro tubbing)
2. i'm not sure if you can slip on this fitting into a copper line.

any help is appreciated...tomorrow is going to be a long day :)

Hey Be careful with this. I read in another forum that pex and shark bite have some kind of copper that could eventual leach into the system over time. Please research that. Before using it.

This is a half in copper pipe

It looked like that shark bite connector was plastic. I guess I don't have to use if that's an issue
