Murals at the Jersey City Police Station

I was working over on Central Ave. in Jersey City the other day and saw these murals painted there. Kinda surprised to see them on a Police Station but they are pretty well done.

Japanese Koi mean good fortune or luck, they also are associated with perseverance in adversity and strength of purpose.
To me it shows that whoever approved this is an intelligent person (pleasant surprise if encountered among officials in our days).
