Nano Cubes - Replacement Parts?

We have a GSMC and an ugly BTA that it loves in our tank and we want them both out. Unfortunately, the fish is my son's and it's over his dead body that we get rid of it.

SOooooo....We're considering a Nano for our kids' room and putting them in there.

We like the Nano cubes with eveything built in. Not alot of extra parts and plugs that the kids can mess with. But...how do you handle it if a part breaks?

Does anyone have any experience with parts that went bad and replacing them?

I prefer the Oceanic cubes over the JBJ. But both brands have replacement parts if needed although there is very little to break on them. Rather well built and engineered.
