nassarious snails/bare bottom

on my next tank im considering it being bare bottom and putting all the sand i have now into my sump.

will my nassarious survive without sand? should i just put them in the sump? or should i get rid of them entirely?

move them to the sump. in a bare bottom there is no need for them - just siphon out any detritus or use a PH to blow the stuff into the overflow/sump.

i've had them in a bb tank. they mill about like any other snail but will stay close to the beautiful pile of detritus which we bare bottomers love to siphon out like clockwork!
