New T-5 Lights Advice.

Got the Current T-5 Nova Extreme
2x24 10,000k
2x24 460nm Actinic

I Had Current Compact Fluorescent
1- 10,000K 65 Watt 22 inch
1- 10,000K Actinic
Questions???
Any shock or issues with the live stock, mostly softy's?

Other concern, the issue was salt splash so I bought a glass cover, temps up a bit and condensation is building, is there any real difference with the lighting verses a open top, I believe that I could solve the splash issue with out the cover but it makes it almost foolproof to use it.

your going to have to clean the glass constantly of salt creep.

The stock bulbs aren't the best. I just replaced mine with ATI bulbs. Much higher par and the appearance is better.

I would think so but if you’re really worried about it place a piece of eggcrate over the tank.
