Hello Everybody my name is Aram, I joined this forum 2 weeks ago to pick some ideas and knowledge on how to setup 30 gallon reef!
I have been in aquarium hobby for a wile but in the fresh water side, I have African Rift Lake cichlids and planted aquariums, so this 30 gallon (24x24x13) nano reef is something new!

So far from equipment I have:
- Rimless 30 gallon (24x24x13)
- Glass Holes overflow and return
- Building a stand about 36" tall
- Reef Octopus Classic 1000 Hang-on-Back Protein Skimmer
- 20 gallon H to convert to sump, I also have a kit from JaxRacks was hopping to get help with this (nothing from vendor)
- MAG 3 return pump
- 2 stage RO unit w/60 GPD membrane, auto shut off system
- 200W Eheim JAGER heater
- Maxspect R42oR 160W 16000k
