New (used) RO/DI unit ???'s

Hey All,

I recently picked up a second hand RO/DI unit (4-stage) and was wondering if it is working correctly and when I need to change the filters. I just purchased a TDS meter and this is today's results:

Tap water = 479ppm

After the RO/DI system = 31ppm

Is this normal and at what point should I be looking to replace the filters?

Thanx in advance!

i never test my output water, but that looks a little high i think (but acceptable).

best to change the filters anyways so you have "brand new" water, rather than "second hand" water"

that is too high, i think 15-18ppm is max.
My input Tap water = 57ppm (Well water)
After the RO (no DI) system = 3ppm
