Not sure what this is

image.jpg i have these growing throughout my tank. I did not add them they must have been on a rock when I got it. They are even growing in my sump. Is this bad or do I need to get rid of it?

AHHHHHH!
KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!

Injecting 'Aptasia X' is a good option if you don't want to mix stuff up.
Injecting Kalkwasser.
Injecting near boiling RODI water.
Cutting the base and supergluing over all remaining stalk.
Sometimes you may get lucky and a couple of peppermint shrimp in the main and the sump will take to them and start devouring them.
If your tank is big enough, a copperband butterfly might do the job.

Or, if you like them, leave them alone, they will spread throughout the tank in a moderate amount of time (they will outcompete and kill corals).
