Painting a stand from black to white?

Bought a Nuvo Fusion 40. Stand only comes in black, wife wants white.


Anywho, I don't want to ruin this $300 stand.
I picked up rust-oleum universal satin white spray paint

Is this going to be okay?

Try a small area, maybe on the back of the stand. You may have to do a few coats to cover the black.

yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I'm really hoping I don't ruin this stand

Gidden has a paint out for door and trim that will do the job.

Just make sure you scuff up the old finish before painting. Paint in thin coats and let tack up.
