Permission Changes

Hello NJRC members,
Just want everyone to be aware that we are going to start making adjustments to permissions on our site. These adjustments are to provide accurate account permissions to the proper users. We are going to do this in phases in hope to have little to no affect on users experience. If at anytime you believe there a problem with your account or permissions please don't hesitate to contact us.

Phase 1:
Verifying that everyone has the correct default user group applied as their primary permissions.

FYI phase 1 will start today/tomorrow. This phase should not affect anyone's permissions and you guys should see no changes.

Good morning everyone. It seems like phase 1 went well with no affect on users experience. We are going to work on Phase 2 now. Phase 2 we are going to set the default permissions for all users. During this phase we are also going to adjust our site's moderators. Moderators will be handled differently than in the past. Moderators will only hold that title/permission until the new BOD takes office. The new BOD will have the option to extend the moderators permission or choose a new group.

Because we are adjusting permissions you might discovered things you are no longer able to do. If you discover something that you used to be able to do but can't now please contact us so we can either explain why the change or look into fixing the issue.

Please join us in welcoming our three moderators. @kschweer , @Mark_C , and @JRWOHLER . We feel these three guys will continue to help the club grow and improve.
