"probe start" or "pulse start" for MH

Hey guys ;D
I know the difference between both types, but wanted to know what preference you guys have.
Do the bulbs cost more on one?? Does one flicker more when starting?? ???
Please let me know.

I would go with the pulse start, they are better at firing the bulbs. But if you have a choice you should go with an electronic ballast and skip the magnetic ones.
