Purple Bonsai placement question

I got a great frag from Steve a few months ago, in my search for answers to another question I ran across this thread http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=119864 and am now confused as to where my Bonsai should go. Here is what it looks like now, seems pretty happy where it is but if I could get more growth or color... ;D

Also if anyone knows whether a mod is needed to add a tunze nano skimmer to a aquapod 24 in the sump chamber I'm all ears.

that coral is looks happy there, if i was you i will leave it alone, when it gets its foot down, it will grow a bit faster.
