Re-Starting my 29g Biocube

OK, so I decided to re-start my tank that has been sitting empty for a year. I'm using my old now "dead" rock & put some pure ammonia in the tank (Small bit every other day)... Waiting about a week now & still plenty of ammonia in the water - What is the best kick start for my tank? Buy a small piece of live rock from a LFS or something else? I am planning on going to AO in Avenel to pick up salt from the group buy this weekend so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

I’d stop adding ammonia and consider adding Bio-Spira or some other “instant cycle” product. It will shorten your cycle. Still need to monitor ammonia, nitrite and nitrates.

Was at ocean gallery II & they wanted to sell me microbacter 7
Anyone hear of it or have any experiences with it??
