Red macro?

For the past few months I've noticed what looks like a red algae growing on
Y rocks. It's a wirey kind and stays short. It's encroaching on my zoas and looks like it has the potential to under grow them and I'm not sure about it. Am I in trouble with this stuff? My urchin seems to graze on it but isn't getting ahead of it. Turbo snail?

If it's growing on a vine like some macros grows you can control it by just pulling it off the rocks by hand.

Could be red turf algae. Google some pics and see if that is what you got.

As Curt said, pull out what you can..

Ive had a long spine that does eat it but it doesn't seem to get ahead. I picked up a couple turbos and kinda boxed them in on the worst rock and they seem to be chowing away. I tried manual removal but it doesn't come of very well. I'll give it some time and see what happens.
