SPS and PC lighting

Can SPS survive under 2x65 watts PC light? I have a 29 gallon tank with a Current USA pc fixture and would like to keep it in case of an emergency or to treat corals.

It all depends on the type of SPS you keep. I used to keep digi's and milli's when I had my 2X65 PC's setup on my 29g. I would say they'd be ok for a few day's if you had an emergency.

i keep a few different monti's and acros under pc's in my mixed 20 gal. but i keep them high in the tank with good flow...as for growth ,it isn't the fastest but there is some.

I kept various SPS HIGH under PC lighting for a while in the beginning. They may not be thrilled about it and may lose some color, but overall should do ok for short term QT purposes.

i guess u can keep them for a short while.. just be sure other things are PERFECT thoigh..
