In your opinions, What brand of test kits are the best?

Just picked up some Salifert and LaMotte.....

LaMotte is a pain in DaBotte but Very scrumpiousdiddly accuarate!!!

I measured my Calcium with the LaMotte and I was at 410ppm and my old test kit (generic $25 Ca test kit at my LFS) said I was at 460ppm...... Pretty significant difference especially since I did it twice coz I thought I was seeing things.

I agree with Concept3, I have always been using Salifert and thought they were the end-all in test kits but recently i had a chance to buy a large LaMotte collection. WHere I'd thought the Saiferts were giving me accurate measurements, the LaMotte's are even more precise. But boy are they a PITA to use...

I think on avg, Saliferts are excellent value for the cost..

But if you got the extra cash, Lamotte or Hach are even better... And Pfizer makes the BEST low level phosphate test kit I've seen, but they are a PITA to find..
