Visiting Jersey recommend a LFS please!

As title states please recommend a LFS in NJ! I'm thinking about visiting either aquarium care center or reefabout. Any experience with either or any better? Thanks in advance!

ACC is huge on livestock and corals. Across the street is Tropaquarium, which is great for tanks, equipment and misc. (they're actually in Ocean).
Both are worthwhile stops.
Plus you can stop in Wegmans when you're there - best food shop in NJ imho.
And if you like beer, bring a growler as Kane Brewing is around the corner.

Welcome to NJ. Hopefully while your in town you can swing by our frag swap if your still around.

Awhile back I started this thread to get an idea of LFS in NJ. - LFS you shop at

ACC is always a good pick great deals and nice selection of fish and corals with sales often
Thank you guys for the quick responses and the recommendations they really helped in my decision of which stores to visit. I live in the new york area and was in the jersey area for an atlantic city weekend. I tried visiting ACC but they closed early because of columbus day. I did stop by tropiquarium and they have unbeatable aquarium prices.

So i ended up visiting Reefabout also, one of the sponsors here on the forums, reefabout | Facebook

Address is:
5303 Atlantic ave.
Ventnor, NJ 08406

I must say Alex the store owner is one of the most knowledgeable LFS owners I've ever met. He solely runs his shop and is a true hobbyist at heart. I've been in the hobby for over 12+ years and its not often you find someone so passionate and willing to share information like he is. He was supposed to be closed today but worked around his schedule to open up the store and do maintenance on the tanks while I was there, that is HUGE! His SPS dominated display tanks are truly awesome and that 9" deresa clam is a stunner.

You'll usually see dying or fading SPS corals at most of LFS you visit, but Alex's store reefabout sells the wonderful sticks we all love. His store is entirely reef with no freshwater fish. Hes got about 1,100 gallons of reef fish in his systems and two runway frag tanks filled with shrooms, lps, and SPS frags..very sweet stuff. He mentioned being a vendor at the new jersey frag swap so I hope you all support him and the local stores around!

Highly knowledgeable A+ store, i'll definitely be returning here again. Thanks again Alex.

It was great meeting you yesterday Aaron. Thanks for the kind words. I couldn't put into this what I do if I didn't love this hobby so much.
