Whats your Experience/Questions with Water Flow in your tank?

Is 40 gals to much for a 65 Gal. DT ? or Just enough?

Do you use power heads? or Just the return pump? or both?
Whats the Min. Flow? or Max Flow?
Is it constant or a Pattern?

I use return pump and powerhead. General reccomendation is 20x turnover. That means if you have a 40 gallon tank you want ~800GPH, less if its a softie/FOWLR tank, more if its an SPS dominated tank. For a 65 gal DT I'd probably want 1500 GPH throughout 2-3 powerheads and a return pump.

Want to make sure sump can pump out water fast enough from sump. 1 Power head would be more than enough. Depends on softy or sticks.
