I dont think the keep up on the tank is too bad. I mean some of the daily things could be cheaper. but, Its the initial start up thats the real killer

This is what I tell my friends and family. The startup is the worst I think. Not only cost wise, but I couldn't keep my hands out of the tank for the first year. Hands in the tank a couple of times a day if not more...every day!All three times that I set up tanks
