I know you didn't ask. But. I'll just put it out there. That sump might be way too small for a 180. Especially considering a lot of skimmers will require water height of upwards of 7". That only leaves 4" for extra water. And I wouldn't trust check valves long term. Might consider a 40 breeder or larger with more height
Should put a forty breeder under that tank Ed is right its to small for a 180
Ended up getting one, thanks and I am trying to set up a 75g as the sump, got it off craigslist.
