I have the same thing with my GH overflow. I was told you have to drill a hole into the 90 at the bulkhead and put some tubing in it. Haven't tried it yet though.

Unless you've changed out the original elbow that came with the overflow, that hole should already be there.

Does the end of your drain lines have slices or holes in them or are they just fully submerged? if theyre just submerged you probable have some back pressure building in your drains. No need to retrict your drains! especially with $40 plumbing parts.
You need a valve on your shortest return line above the tee to force water the other way or you could have valves on both so you can balance the flow.

its submerged ill drill some holes. I never said I was a plumbing specialist, but it works thus if it ain't broke.....

Paul that tube is on mine ill mess with it today

I love that Reef Rocks rock. Glad you used him, he's a good guy. So he built it up like that for you? It looks pretty awesome!

Yes sir he built it, glued it, rodded it, and shipped it :). Extra $25, but so worth it. All I had to do was send him photos of setups I liked and he did the hard work.

BTW, I have a Evo 1050 if you are still looking for a power head to mix SW.

900LPH is only 238GPH. The problem is, Skimmer pumps use needle wheels instead of impellers, so you will not get very much head height from it. Unless you replace the needle wheel, that pump will not be of much use to you other than to circulate water.

Ahh so I can at least let it mix my salt for me so thats a plus :)

Brandon, don’t know how much salt you will need to make up each week, but 238 gph is spitting into the wind. Post up a WTB for an older Koralia 3 or 4…..you could probably pick one up for $20. Now we’re talking moving a bit more water. The more movement the better. A K3 or K4 would work nicely for a 10 – 35 gallon mixing bucket.
