I'm with you on that one...However I do add a cup or two of the old sand to seed the new...One or two cups will do a lot more good then bad for the system. IMO

Hi Bob, You can buy a tool to cut that at Home Depot or lowes for about 3 bucks. it's not that hard with 3/8 or 1/4 inch in fact it's amost like cutting sheet rock.
