Just bought my son a 46g tank for his bedroom. Probably gonna be a goldfish or community tank, frugal low maintenance nothing fancy freshwater system. The room leaves no space for a HOB filter in the back so I'm considering a canister. Preferably looking for an eheim or an XP series one but...

They are currently with large trigger fish and it seems as if they are not good choices to keep with larger aggressive fish.
I am trying to find a material to insert into one of my all-in-one tank chambers. The dimensions are 5x5x18. Anyone know where I can get such a size prefilter sponge/foam?
My brother was browsing by the pet store this morning and saw some african cichlids and liked them so much that he bought home 5 adults, along with a brand new 55 gallon tank/stand/filter. He knows nothing about fish keeping.
So he calls me an hour ago telling me what he did. At this point, it...
Well I just cracked my 36g Reef Ready tank. I have no use for it any more. So, I figured it would be helpful for someone looking to reef-ready their tank. I know I spent around 60 bucks in just the bulkheads when I drilled it myself so it could save you some $$
It has all the parts neccessary...
I used Southdown play sand in one of my tanks back in the day, although I see they don't sell that anymore. Anyone using any non-live sand substrate alternatives? I think it has to be silica free and made of calcium carbonate maybe. Just looking to save some $$ for my next tank build. Thanks!
Looking for a Setup for my Living room.
Either a 4 Feet tank or a 6 Feet tank. It can be with stand/canopy/lights or even tank only. Preferably Reef Ready or drilled. Pictures would be appreciated.
-Thank you
Thinking of starting a 55g community freshwater tank and was just wondering, do they smell? I plan to have it in my living room and saltwater isn't in the budget just yet.
-Thanks!
So, it seems as if I won't be having a reef anymore, or well in a week or two. Just wanted to tell you guys that you guys are the best! I'm not too sure if I would be able to have my tank up this long without your support!
it was fun while it lasted... :(
As most of you already know, I'm leaving reefing and going to FO.
So, I broke down my 2nd tank today and I'd like to sell the livestock together.
1) False Percula Clownfish
2) Pair of Jawfish (male & female)
3) Zebra Goby
4) Banded Coral Shrimp
5) Large Brittle Star (15" tail-tail)
All for...

-Thanks!
