I'm usually the one taking the pictures in my house, therefore digital pic's (that are half way flattering) of me aren't too common on my hard drive.

If I can ever get my camera back from my father and actually MAKE it to a meeting, I have some portable lighting and backdrop equipment, I could do some portrait shots. Nothing spectacular, just some inexpensive light stands etc. Could be interesting.

OH DO WE HAVE CAMERAS!!!!

I wonder who started the FAD?

No, seriously. Wasn't it QWERTY?

There ya go! Now I just gotta get this retail manager occupation thing worked out to wrangle a weekend off... :(

Still trying to wiggle out of Feb 24th to get to the Cherry Hill meeting, but I doubt strongly that's going to happen...

matt- you run the place. you make the rules. that's what I did when I was the boss LOL

LOL! Actually, I just enforce the rules. I wish sometimes it was the other way around. Besides, new promotion, good impression, and all that jazz.

Great resemblance, I just can't figure out who I look like?

EEEEEEEEEHHH WHATS UP DOC ?

Ask away! These guys and gals are the greatest!

Is that an amazon on your shoulder? I have an umbrella cockatoo.

Yep, that's "Hunter", my Yellow Nape Amazon. I also have an Double Yellow Head. The whole family wanted a cockatoo, but I had my mind set on an Amazon, despite their reputation. Now my YN is a sweetheart, while my (male) DYH can be somewhat of a challenge. :)

Welcome Wendy!

I had a yellow nape named Wally for many years. Doubles are always a challenge IME.

Parrots are a thing of the past for me. My wife has grudgingly allowed a cockatiel for my daughter and an adopted parakeet.

Although, I don't miss the screams!

Hi Bill,

And thank you for the warm welcome. :)

I'm very lucky with my amazons - neither one of them screams. They both talk, sing, and whistle, my DYH more so than my YN. I've had my YN since she was only 3 months old, and still required 1 hand-feeding/day. Everyone (in the family) can handle her and pretty much do with her what you want. She's a poster child of an amazon with an incredible temper. She'll be 8 this year.

The DYH was given to me by my girl-friend when he was 6 months. Nobody wanted to buy him because of his "temper" and tendency to bite hard. He even bit her, even though she had raised him from the time he opened his eyes. I won't say he hasn't bitten me hard because he has drawn blood a couple of times, but overall he's SO much fun. He's great with me and pretty good with my husband. I can pet him and play with him - IF he's in the mood for it. He's definitely got it out for my teenage boys. Must be a testesterone thing. Here he is on my younger son's hand. Doesn't he look thrilled? ;)

I hear that. My cockatoo Nixie is staying with my sister right now because she has taken to threatening the 19 month old daughter. I love my bird, but not more than my 2 foot tall little mini me! She is doing well, so she may stay there indefinitely.
