I know that biopellets work for some people but when I was using them my acros lost a lot of color and looked pale. I found that they strip the water too clean. When I stopped the pellets my colors came back.

So far I'm seeing mixed results. Most of my colors have gotten more intense. A select few particularly my red planet and the bonsia's have lost some color. I tend to be a heavy feeder so I believe they have helped me keep things in balance. Im gonna give it a few more months before I make a final decision on weather to keep it going or not. Though to be honest, when I see your tank and the colors in Sunny's tank its hard to argue keeping them going.
