I would recommend doing more research before geting a UV. they are more preventive maintenance than rather a cure.

I'm not saying not to purchase one @Sobo's Reef , but personally I do not think a UV will cure your problem....

I'll prob wind up just continuing to siphon it out during water changes and see what happens.. sometimes my tank doesn't look too bad but other days it looks like crap lol

Just when things were starting to go really well.. I wake up to find all of my Snails and Shrimp eating my dead clownfish [emoji20] no idea what happened. He was swimming around and eating yesterday before I went to bed. How could one just die in an 8hr window??

I have lost fish within that short of a time frame with no warning signs at all. It sucks man.

My other clownfish seems to be swimming kind of weird but they were always both weird so who knows.. I have to go into work on my day off to talk with my boss so we'll see if anything happens while I'm gone

Just got home and tested my tank...

Ammo is at 0ppm (API)
Nitrates at 5ppm (Salifert)
Salinity 1.025
Phosphate 0.01ppm (Hanna)

So maybe there was just something wrong with him that I couldn't see?

Corals look great. Just watch out for that
Hydnophora. It's really aggressive and stings everything

Here's what he looked like when I dug him outta the sand after he was being eaten by 5 shrimp, 2 crabs and 1 shrimp lol

And no it doesn't look like a swim bladder issue... he's just goofy I guess lol he stays upwards so that's good
